NYSC Members Unveil Traffic Board In Gwagwalada

In an effort to ensure free flow of traffic along the Abuja-Lokoja road, the batch B Corps members, serving in Gwagwalada area council have unveiled a traffic board, which they said would educate motorists on the proper use of the highways.

Speaking at the unveiling of the project in Gwagwalada yesterday, the unit commanding officer in charge of the area, Mr. Rabiu Usman applauded the Corps members for their kind gesture, even as he tasked their colleagues to emulate them.

Similarly, as part of its preparation to begin enforcement of speed limiter, the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has organized a seminar on the significance of speed limiter, with the aim of encouraging motorists to install the device in their vehicles.

In a lecture titled: “Install Speed Limiting Device Now” the managing director of Gifted Driving Services and Motor Solution, Mr. Oyegoke  Alani, explained the importance of the device, adding that aside from reduction of fuel consumption and maintenance cost, it also saves motorists from fatal  road crashes.
