Katsina Vows To Support Nigeria-Niger Trade Pacts

The deputy governor of Katsina Alhaji Mannir Yakubu has declared the full support of his state to the agreement signed for establishing “Business Corridor along Kano-Jigawa-Daura and Zindar of Niger republic.

Alhaji Mannir revealed this when he represented his Governor at the occasion of official lunching for the take-up of the “Business Corridor” held in Dutse Jigawa state.

He said, the new trade agreement will help in reducing smuggling activities along the boarder and also boost legitimate trade that would help the economy of the two countries.

According to him Katsina is ever ready to provide all the necessary facilities and policies required from its side for the smooth take-up of the project and sustainable achievement of the desire goals.

“The establishment of this new business corridor as another golden opportunities to us as Eastern part of our state would now be open for legitimate modern international business”

“In deed this initiative will provide job oportunities to our people, wealth creation and provide income to our state and republic of Nigeria and Niger”

The trade agreement was  initiated by Nigeria-Niger Join Corporation Commission  for establishing free trade zone known as Kano-Jigawa-Daura-Zindar business corridor for facilitating the movement of goods and service along the international rout.
