Seun Kuti drops a three track EP titled “Struggle Sounds” EP to mark a reflection of the times.

The Afro-beat torchbearer put out this conscious effort alongside the Egypt 80, the band he took over from his father, Fela, and has been playing with for years.

The new EP was co-produced by Robert Glasper, who also did production work for Seun’s last album “A Long Way To The Beginning.”

More than ever we are convinced of our mission and the purpose of our music,” says Seun. “The Struggle Sounds EP is a true reflection of my social and political beliefs. I give honor to my parents and every revolutionary who made this possible even before I was born,”he adds.

The new release features the political-charged lead single ‘Gimme my vote back (C.P.C.D.)’—C.P.C.D. an acronym for Corporate Public Control Department.
