Transcorp Hilton Abuja Won Seven Stars Hospitality Award 2016

Transcorp Hilton Abuja has received the Signum Virtutis (Seal of Excellence) in the Hotels and Resorts Category of the 2016 Seven Stars Global Luxury Hospitality and Lifestyle Awards. The Award Gala ceremony took place at the Villa Padierna Palace Hotel in Marbella, Spain on Saturday 15th of October.

An elite panel of luxury lifestyle experts selected nominees and eventual winners of the Seven Stars Luxury Hospitality and Lifestyle Awards with voting open to the public. Transcorp Hilton Abuja is the only Nigerian hotel ever voted to receive this prestigious award.

Receiving the Award on behalf of the Hotel, Valentine Ozigbo, Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Transcorp Hotels Plc, said, ‘’To again be recognized as a luxury hospitality leader by a global award body is truly an acknowledgement of Transcorp Hilton Abuja’s commitment to the delivery of world-class luxury hospitality. At the ceremony attended by top international media along with princes, ambassadors, mayors, celebs in which the world’s first international Hospitality Hall of Fame was launched to honour extraordinary careers and achievements of the most exceptional members of the Luxury Hospitality industry, Mr. Ozigbo was honoured as the Seven Stars CEO of the Year for his leadership and transformative works that have raised the hotel as the no 1 luxury hospitality brand in Nigeria and top business hotel in Africa.

The 5-star hotel recently won the World Travel Awards 2016 in five categories including Africa’s Leading Business Hotel and has also been nominated for the World’s Leading Business Hotel Award at 2016 World Travel Awards Grand Final which will take place on 2 December in the Maldives
